This Summer’s Night Out Block Parties Well Attended

Terrie Johnston, our SPD Crime Prevention Coordinator, says that the North Precinct had 760 block parties on August 7th. This is more than all the other Seattle Police Precincts combined. Pinehurst is in the North Precinct, which is all Seattle north of the Ship Canal. Way to go North Precinct!

Police Prioritizing In-Progress Burglary Calls

Pinehurst neighbors have been talking about recent burglaries in our neighborhood on the Pinehurst Seattle Facebook page. Some of the burglaries have been in broad daylight. In fact, most burglaries occur between 6 am and 6 pm when we are less likely to be at home.
