At our house, dogs are allowed on the bed.
In the summer we enjoy sleeping on the deck — Heather and Wilke liked to sleep outside with us — under the mosquito netting!
We are blessed to have EXTREMELY fabulous neighbors and, unsurprisingly, they also have very nice animals. Juno was the dog they had when they first moved in two houses away from us. Juno was a Very Good Dog. She stayed with us when her folks went on vacation. She particularly liked our house because we had put our mattress on the floor so that our very, very elderly dogs (16 and 19 years old) could get up on the bed with us. Juno liked to sleep on our bed too!
Juno’s gone now, and so are my dogs, but we still think of them all with a lot of love and miss them a lot (and we’re thinking we will get a new dog in February!)
