PinehurstCemetary

Hello Pinehurstians and Friends! This is Merideth from the Pinehurst Cemetery Haunted Walk-through with information on the free pumpkin carving event on Friday.

We do pumpkin carving for two main reasons: 1) To give parents and caregivers a chance to see the walk-through so that they can decide if it’s okay for their children on Halloween night. There will be no lights, no sounds, and no costumes, but you will leave with a pretty clear picture of what it’s about. 2) We want our youngest neighbors to see us as neighbors first, and as witches and mad scientists second. So, let’s get down to business! smile emoticon

Pumpkin carving will be on Friday, October 30th from 3pm to 6pm.

We have around 14 pumpkins that will be in the show and are available to carve. Please RSVP by messaging us through the Pinehurst Cemetery page if you would like to carve one of these pumpkins (one per family group please). However, we will also have pumpkin carving tools for those who wish to bring their own pumpkins. Each group of minors will need to have an adult to help them scoop and carve.

A few words of caution: we love to see our young ones running around the big yard, we certainly do, but it will probably be raining and we’d hate to see anyone get hurt, so we will ask for caregivers to help keep the yard, props, and sets injury-free. We only like pretend scares here. wink emoticon

The address is 1910 NE 120th St. And definitely send us a message if you need special accommodation.

Happy Almost Halloween!
