World of Tastes in the Heart of Lake City

This program to support local establishments will run until September 29^th 2016. Each participating business will have passports to hand out. You can get one at Kaffeeklatsch at 12513 lake City Way. You can also pick up a passport at the Lake City Farmers Market at NE 125th St & 28th Ave NE, and they will be made available at various public events throughout the program. Take the passport to each participating business, buy something, and they’ll stamp it for you. For the Farmers Market, visit the Market Booth to receive your stamp.

Passports with enough stamps to qualify for a prize should be returned to the Kaffeeklatsch by close of business on September 29^th. This year there are three levels of prizes indicated on the back of the passport so that more people can take part in the fun. Winners will be chosen at random and one winner from each of the three tiers of prizes will be awarded. Winners will be contacted via the contact information on the passport within one week of the closing of the program.

Taking part in this program supports some of the most treasured Lake City Businesses. You can partner with friends, family and neighbors to qualify for the drawing on whatever level is comfortable.

It also helps remind us that we need to retain our small businesses that provide Lake City with its “flavor” and bring attention to the fact that it is up to us as a community that we need to work to keep them here. The program also can help to attract potential new businesses to the area. And not least, you may try some businesses you’ve never been to before, and discover a new favorite.
