You are invited to the next meeting of the D5 Community Network, which will feature a question and answer session with District 5 City Councilmember Debora Juarez, on Tuesday, February 13, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Seattle Mennonite Church in Lake City, 3120 NE 125th St.
The church has a parking lot behind it, accessed through a driveway just to the east of the church on NE 125th St, but if you can carpool, take public transit, walk or bicycle to the meeting, that will be easier on both the environment and the surrounding community.
We have asked Councilmember Juarez to discuss action and prospects for action on community priorities as they were identified at our community meeting with her last September 19. The poster sheets with comments from attendees at that meeting will be up again at this meeting. We also will end this meeting with introductions of community groups from District 5 that are present at the meeting and a discussion of next steps for the D5 Community Network itself.
I hope you can join us! Please circulate this notice to anyone you know who lives or works in District 5 who you think might be interested to attend. All are welcome. A formal meeting flyer will be going out within the next week.
