I think this blog needs some more FUN! How about a Pinehurst Pets area — is there a way that we can send in or upload our photos.
I’d also love to see gardens and yards of my neighbors and share ideas on that topic — particularly organic gardening.
And lastly, the Lake City and Northgate Libraries should be invited to send in their events and happenings and to submit articles or link to the library blogs – there’s a teen blog and an adult blog at http://www.spl.org
I’m so happy this blog exists! However, there seems to be a serious problem with the site’s rss and atom feeds, including the “Subscribe to” links in the sidebar. I’ll be sure to check back, but subscribing would be more convenient.
Erica – Excellent ideas! Do you have any interest in being one of the Pinehurst bloggers and doing these things? You could could post library events…garden reviews or stories…pet profiles or photos…a pet of the week….

I’d like to see more local restaurant tips/reviews/news (like what happened to Burrito Express?). Maybe even photos of local gardens? BTW…I LOVE this blog and appreciate all the work that goes into it!
I agree. I would love someone to write restaurant reviews. I don’t have time to do more than I already do. Anyone up for restaurant reviews? Local business profiles?
btw – I love Burrito Express. It looked like they were painting the building and then they would reopen. Does anyone have the scoop?
