Apparently, there was a large marijuanna seizure in Pinehurst at an apartment in the 12000 block of Roosevelt Way on January 21st. Here is the story from the Seattle Police Blotter:
On 1/21/09 at approximately 2:30 AM North Precinct Officers responded to a call of a man kicking in a door to an apartment in the 12000 block of Roosevelt Way NE. When they arrived, they found the door kicked in, and a male in the apartment. The male was extremely intoxicated, and was unable to provide his name, or any information about what had happened. The officers did a check of the unit for any victims or suspects, but found no one else in the apartment. While in the apartment, the officers saw large amounts of marijuana in large bags, scales, and money. The suspect lost consciousness shortly after the officers arrived. The officers found his ID, and determined that he was the tenant of the apartment. SFD responded, and called an ambulance to take him to Northwest Hospital. He was treated, and a short time later released back into police custody. The Narcotics unit was notified and Officers secured the scene while a warrant was obtained.
