HARVEST FESTIVAL

Celebrate the Fall Harvest with your community
and enjoy freshly pressed apple juice and $5 PONY RIDES!

DIWALI FESTIVAL
Lake City Community Center | 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.| All Ages| FREE
Diwali or Deepavali is the Hindu festival of lights,
which is celebrated every autumn. One of the most popular
festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual victory
of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over
ignorance. Join the Lake City Community Center and Library as
we learn more about and enjoy this tradition. This free event
will feature story time, crafts, games, music, and food.

FUNKY FAMILY FALL FESTIVAL
Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center | 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.| All Ages| $5 per person, family 4+ $20
Get the whole family together to join us for an evening of
treats and a few tricks. Come in costume and enjoy carnival
style games, crafts, haunted mini golf, and more! Meet your
neighbors, let your kids loose in the gym and have fun. Funky
family costumes encouraged. Parental supervision required.

FRIGHT NIGHT
Lake City Community Center | 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.| All Ages| FREE
Join the Lake City neighborhood for a full evening
of fun! Start in the mini park to get a map of local businesses
participating in trick-or-treating from 5:15-6:15. After your
bags are full, head over to the Community Center for an all
ages party from 6:30-8:30p.m. hosted by the Lake City Lions
Club. The celebration will include food, crafts, games, and a
Haunted House put on by the Lake City Vigilantes.

HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL
Montlake Community Center | 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.| All Ages| FREE
Bring the whole family down to our Halloween
Carnival for a beWITCHing night of fun. Enjoy carnival games,
face painting, arts and crafts, and collect some candy! We will
also have a toiletry drive if you would like to donate!

SCARECROW MINI FEST

scarecrow + 25 tickets for games
Get ready for the annual Scarecrow Mini Fest! We’ll
be inside this year with the same great games, kids
activities, kiddie tractor ride corral, and of course, scarecrow
making! You bring the clothes and a pillow case for the head,
and we’ll supply the rest. Put your scarecrow on display during
the Mini Fest for a chance to win grand prize!

DIA DE MUERTOS

Dia de Muertos, or Day of the Dead is a celebration of loved ones who have passed. During this colorful tradition we will be making sugar skulls along with other crafts and games.

DIA DE MUERTOS & MOVIE NIGHT
Miller Community Center | 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.| All Ages|FREE
Come celebrate and learn about a Mexican tradition, Dia De
Muertos! Also known as Day of the Dead. Watch a performance
by traditional Mexican dancers and get your face painted with
traditional sugar skull designs. We will also be playing a movie
on the big screen! Chips and salsa will be provided during the
movie.

THE REPTILE MAN
Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center | 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.| All Ages|$5 per person, family 4+ $20
Why go to the zoo when the animals can come to you! The
Reptile Man will be coming to our community center to show
off his reptile friends. Join us for a fun filled evening of bonding
with cute cold-blooded creatures flicking their tongues and
hissing in scaly solidarity.

Can’t get enough turkey? Join us and your friends
and family in the community for a shared meal.

ARTS AND CRAFTS EXTRAVAGANZA
Lake City Community Center | 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.| Ages 12 and Under|FREE
Kids are out of school, time for some crafting fun! The Lake City
Library and Community Center are teaming up to bring a day
of messy, creative, and hands on fun.
