Hi, all – I live in the Pinehurst area and sing in Seattle Pro Musica (www.SeattleProMusica.org). I invite you to come hear our concert, “Eastern Lights,” this Saturday Dec 12. It’s a remarkable program of choral music from Asia and the Pacific. Concerts will be at 3 pm and 8 pm at the chapel at Bastyr University, tucked away in Saint Edwards State Park, in Bothell.
The music is entirely a capella and includes traditional melodies and new compositions from Japan, Korea, China, Mongolia, Indonesia, Philippines, New Zealand and Australia. We sing exciting rhythmic pieces, lush harmonies, and pieces evocative of the traditions and landscapes of Asia.
Our conductor, Karen P. Thomas, is amazing–you may have seen the recent Seattle Times article highlighting her local background, excellent programming and conducting, and her shaping of this acclaimed choral group.
Come enjoy this unique and beautiful concert program. Get tickets on line (www.seattlepromusica.org) or at the door. Hope to see you there!

Oops–The evening concert is 7:30, not 8. Hope to see you there! Elly
