North Precinct Advisory Council Minutes – Dec. 1, 2021

NPAC’s December meeting focused on DUIs, with speaker Officer Eric Michl. Then the City Attorney’s Office liaison and the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office representative spoke about DUI prosecutions. SPD budget and staffing issues have resulted in dissolution of the dedicated DUI Squad, and Covid-19 caused a huge backlog of DUI filings in the city and county attorney’s offices.
