Thornton Creek Alliance is holding a meeting on Thursday. Here’s the flyer, a Word document. I’ve pasted whole flyer below.
Thornton Creek Alliance
Invites You
To attend our upcoming General Membership Meeting
Thursday, January 21, 7:00 pm
Maple Leaf Lutheran Church, 10005 32nd Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125
Presentation by Russell Link, Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife:
Gardening on the Wing: Bats, Bees, Birds & Butterflies.
Russell Link, author and wildlife biologist, will illustrate his informative speech with a slideshow.
Learn to attract various species to your yard and how to discourage, or maybe live with, other creatures that are bound to appear. If you haven’t heard him speak before, you are in for a treat!
Copies of his books, LIVING WITH WILDLIFE and LANDSCAPING FOR WILDLIFE, and nesting boxes will be available for sale. All sale proceeds benefit the Backyard Wildlife Sanctuary Program.
This meeting is free and open to the public. Bring your friends and neighbors who would like to live in a more nature-safe neighborhood!
Here is an interview with Russell: http://wdfw.wa.gov/pubaffrs/1stpersn/rlink.htm
After the presentation there will be a short business meeting. Everyone’s ideas are welcome.
