Got homework? Check out the Northgate Library’s FREE Homework Help service, which resumes on Monday, September 27th. Trained volunteers are available to assist students in grades K through 12 with school work on a drop-in basis every Monday and Tuesday from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:30 PM throughout the 2010-2011 school year (excepting school holidays).
Homework Help volunteers can help students understand their homework assignments, develop effective study skills, learn successful approaches for solving math problems and more. Northgate Library’s wonderful volunteers are a highly educated, enthusiastic and supportive bunch that includes several former teachers. They are especially skilled at working with new English speakers.
