There’s a meeting coming up which will include some discussion of the Neighborhood Project Fund. The deadline for projects is coming up quickly and ideally everything would be in by the March 2nd North District Council meeting so it could be discussed there. The meeting is open the whole community and I’ve included some info on the agenda items below as well as more info on the NPF process.
North District Council Meeting:
March 2nd @ 7 PM in the Lake City Library
- Seattle City Council President Richard Conlin will address us with current concerns, news.
- Elections for North District Council positions – chair, vice chair, committee posts. More details will follow.
- Phil Shack and Phillip Duggan are nominated for Co-Chair but there are other posts open for nominations
- Neighborhood Street Fund (Details Below)
Neighborhood Project Funds:
(March 8 deadline)
These were formerly known as CRF/NSF projects, and typically include small sidewalk improvements/repairs, traffic calming (bumps, traffic circles), crosswalks, handrails, curb bulbs, etc. Priority is generally given to safety improvements, and improvements that are supported by Neighborhood Plans, but do not feel constrained.
