This is a great way to celebrate the new park and I am very grateful for the investment that is being made. However, I am sad that there is no playground equipment or other activities for kids in the new park. My kids comment on the lack of activities in the new park for them each time they pass the site.

Well I was looking for an Easter Egg Hunt. I wonder what a spring egg hunt is? Lame event at a lame park.

This park is a big disappointment. It is basically a lot with a few shrubs and some dorky ball shapes. It was supposed to open in 2010, then middle of February and it still isn’t open. The city should put stipulation in contracts about completion dates. What construction company was handed this and had greased some park person’s pocket? In future I will vote against parks. I want my tax dollars put to better use.

I am also very disappointed in this park. For the past several months I have driven by and thought “I’m sure they will be putting in the playground equipment soon.” It looks as if the only thing that kids can play on are those cement balls. Not sure what the point of this park is, except if you are into playing basketball. In my opinion it was a waste of money, the park & ride lot seemed like a better use of the space.

Is the skatepark still going to be made? There are lots of eager skateboarders that are hoping for this park! The design looks great, I hope you still make the park.
