I am very sad to hear that St. George’s is closing. They have been generous and good neighbors over the years.
several members of St George hope to continue the ‘3rd Sunday dinner ‘[ which is served from 1pm to 2:30 pm watch the sandwich board out front of St G’s –
I’m sorry to hear that this church is being closed, being an Episcopalian myself, but attending another church. Your generosity of spirit in hosting the Tent City was a wonderful thing and made me proud. Sorry that finances must be such that you are being closed.
I suspect the closing is the result of the continuing decline in membership of liberal main line churches. See http://clearfogblog.wordpress.com/presbyterian-pope/
