I have known Zipper (handsome gent in the blue) and “his people” for a long time — we used to run into each other when I was walking my two OLD dogs, back when they could go for walks. Zipper liked my OLD dogs because they calm and quiet, because, did I mention, they were OLD?
We all ran into each other last Sunday when I was on my way to church — just after that little dusting of snow. Zipper has a new companion — I think her name is Robin [her name is Rocket – see comment below], she’s the dog in the sporty red jacket. She is completely a sweetie pie, a little less reserved than Zipper (she tried to get IN my car when I stopped to take their picture).
Of course, I do not remember Zipper’s people’s names! HUGE apologies! Maybe you can leave a comment on the posting and correct and fill in as needed. [Thanks Theron and Star for leaving a note. How embarrasing!]

Hello Erica,
We are Theron and Star and the dogs are Zipper and Rocket. Rocket is just 2 1/2 years old and we adopted her from Greyhound Pets, Inc. last October. Their website is:

See you around!

People names are the tough to remember…when there are dogs to be talked about.
When I bump into you occasionally, on morning walks, Zipper and Rocket always seem so Regal. I didn’t realize that greyhounds were so calm.
I’m one of your neighbors…with the shepherd-ish and the Chihuahua-ish dogs.
Nice to see you’re making it into the pinehurst press.
Hey, Star and David — if you see the people who own Jasper and Baby — I think his name is Chris? In the little house with the big yard – I’d love to tell their story….
