Looking for a Pinehurst Representative to Thornton Creek Watershed Oversight Council

Do you have an interest in Thornton Creek health and related environmental issues? If so, do you have an interest in representing Pinehurst as a member of Thornton Creek Watershed Oversight Council (TCWOC)?

The TCWOC meets every other month on the fourth Wednesday of each month. The next meeting will be in March. The workplan for the upcoming year includes looking at the following:

– stormwater code revisions
– low impact development & green stormwater infrastructure
– green sidewalk alternatives
– protections of shorelines on creeks and lakes
– the City of Shoreline Basin Plan
– Seattle Park Levy progress
– Tree ordinances and assessments of native vegetation
– Sediment Source Study and Thornton Creek Hyrdologic Model update
