KOMO is reporting that four homes in Pinehurst and Olympic Hills were broken into on August 1st, and in all cases the stolen items were cash, including coins.
Keep your doors and windows locked, and keep your cash/coins out of sight!
The 2 young men that were doing burglaries in Pinehurst a few years ago are back. I have seen them around 123rd and Pinehurst. Both tall and thin. One black one white. They travel together. The white kid talked to my wife and was full of “mam and sir” as if he had been somewhere where respect is required.
On a positive note! The man who broke into my shop in June was apprehended at another burglary, tied to my shops’ break in because of the photos I submitted. Apparently he was associated with 6 other burglaries and will be in jail for quite sometime!
My son Kurt’s house was broken into in June, he lives near 4th and NE 117th St. They stole his Mac Computer and Dell Laptop and a 55″ flat screen TV!! This happened during the day between 12-3 PM on a weekday. He lives in a house that was broken into before. The vehicle that was seen from the prior burglaries was thought to be a dark colored pick up truck, possibly purple, blue or black.
This morning (August 19)at just before 5:30am , my husband called police as he saw two guys (one black, one white) taking items from a neighbors car. The police were quick to respond but did not find the two. The police speculated that they probably lived in the neighborhood as they vanished so quickly. The car window had been left open a little. My husband was not able to get a photo of them, but he likely would recognize them.
