Seattle Parks and Recreation is holding a public meeting at the Northgate Community Center on 11/9 at 7:00PM. Click on the thumbnail of the flyer on the right to see the full image.
This meeting will give you the opportunity to provide your input on how Seattle Parks and Recreation can best serve your neighborhood in the future. We’ll have staff present from Northgate Community Center, and the new Northeast Geographic team, as well as members of Parks and Recreation leadership, to talk about how well parks is meeting your needs in the Northgate community. You will have the opportunity to:
- Talk with Parks and Recreation staff and neighbors about your ideas to build community relationships
- Help Parks and Recreation identify programs and services that are efficient and relevant for those living in the Northgate community
- Work together with Parks and Recreation to identify potential operating hours for Northgate Community Center in 2012
- Share your voice and personal vision/ideas with others
