The NE Seattle Emergency Preparedness group is planning its first public meeting featuring activities funded by a recent grant from the Department of Neighborhoods – Thursday evening, March 15th, 6:30-9:00 pm at the Wedgwood Presbyterian Church, 8008 35th Avenue NE.
Wedgwood Community Council (Bill Dock) & Sustainable NE Seattle (JoAnn Kerr) are the organizers and encourage all interested folks in NE Seattle to attend. See the nice writeup on the Wedgwood CC’s website here: http://wedgwoodcc.org/
Learn how to “Map Your Neighborhood” at the block level. Folks who attend will return to their own blocks and organize their neighbors. There will be some give-away materials, funded by the grant.
The area covered by the activity is all of NE Seattle. Ideally one or two representatives from each neighborhood will be able to attend the March 15 meeting.
