Police Prioritizing In-Progress Burglary Calls

Pinehurst neighbors have been talking about recent burglaries in our neighborhood on the Pinehurst Seattle Facebook page. Some of the burglaries have been in broad daylight. In fact, most burglaries occur between 6 am and 6 pm when we are less likely to be at home.

Currently, the police are prioritizing 911 calls from people reporting  a possible burglary in progress. Do not hesitate to call 911 if you see suspicious activity on your street or at a neighbor’s home. It is better to call and be wrong than to not call and possibly miss an opportunity to thwart a burglary. The police  say they are happy to come out to check out a suspicious situation.
