With a new service from the Seattle Police Department, we can now see police activity and information by neighborhood via Twitter. It’s called Tweets by Beat. Most of Pinehurst is in North Precinct Sector L2. Go to https://twitter.com/SeattlePDL2 to see the tweets.
There is a one hour delay so people don’t rush over to a crime scene, and not all events are included. For instance sex crimes are not tweeted.

hello i live on 19th block of 115th. i just wanted to leave a note that our cars have been broken into twice now in the last couple of months. no police reports were made due to police lack of response but i wanted to make sure it was noted somewhere to ensure that we are all vigilant. With the holiday season approaching and the days getting darker earlier we need to be more aware of our surroundings.
