Thank you to everyone who joined us for our community meeting at Amante last night! It was a good turnout despite the weather.
Folks enjoyed meeting candidate for Seattle Attorney Peter Holmes and Seattle City Council candidates Sally Bagshaw (Position 4), Marty Kaplan (Position 6), and David Miller (Position 8). Dorsol Plants (Seattle City Council candidate for position 4) and Michael McGinn (candidate for Seattle Mayor) had planned to join us, but had to cancel due to illness in their families. Both plan to come to Pinehurst for Pinehurstfest in July.
At a few points during the meeting there was a fair amount of discussion regarding the challenges faced by cyclists who live in Pinehurst. Perhaps we can focus on Pinehurst cycling issues as one of our future meetings.
I am very impressed with the Pinehurst spirit. It’s a great neighborhood, with dozens of dedicated people looking out for each other.
Congratulations on the new sidewalk, and I support your efforts to get an appropriate bike lane across the bridge.
Thanks for all your good work,
Sally Bagshaw
Candidate for Seattle City Council
