Tuesday, August 4th is the annual Seattle Night Out. Neighbors across Seattle and the US will be meeting up for a potluck or some similar type of gathering to chat with their neighbors and build connections.
You do not have to meet up with your neighbors on that night, but it is an opportunity to close off your street (with some exceptions) and to enjoy this amazing summer weather and to be part of a larger event. Some neighbors choose to meet up on a weekend afternoon or evening when they can be more relaxed. And, other neighbors meet up more than one time per year. It is all up to you. But, meeting up and getting to know your neighbors makes a world of difference.
