We learned about another Little Free Library (LFL) in the neighborhood! Apparently this one has been up a couple months, so some of you are using it already. It’s at 12024 20th Ave NE.
LFLs are a fun way to encourage literacy. Kids love to check out the boxes. And they’re a great way to share books with neighbors and strangers passing by. You can take a book, borrow a book, or give a book. There’s no need to return anything you take unless you want to. The one expectation is that you don’t sell books you get from the libraries. Once given, they are always free.
LFLs that are registered with the website www.littlefreelibrary.org have a plaque showing a registration number. Registered libraries should show up on the map at the website when you search for library locations.
