Seattle Parks and Recreation is asking the public to help name the Lake City park at the former Lake City Elementary School playground at 12312 26th Ave. N.E. It was acquired from the Seattle School District in 1987 after being declared surplus.
Name suggestions should be sent in writing by November 16th, along with an explanation of how the proposed name fits the geographic, historical, cultural or geological significance of the site.
