Seattle University is administering the citywide Seattle Public Safety Survey. The purpose of the survey is to solicit feedback on public safety and security concerns from those who live and/or work in Seattle.
A report on the survey results will be provided to the Seattle Police Department to assist them with making your neighborhood safer and more secure. The survey is accessible at publicsafetysurvey.org through November 30th.
We are a preschool in the Lake City neighborhood.
We rent space in the George Church, located at 2212 N.E. 125th St.
This is our 6th year renting – there has always been an issue with homeless, litter, and other issues that we have to navigate in order to provide a safe environment for the families that we serve.
We are struggling with this issue daily – the church knows about the problem, but they do not have the resources to deal with it daily.
The homeless issue has become more of a problem in the last two years – we are struggling to run our business and I think that there are other businesses in the area who are struggling as well. Thank you for providing this platform to share about our issues. We serve approx. 50 families per year. Working hard to stay where we are and serve families in the Lake City neighborhood.
