The Friends of Lake City Fred Meyer Garden Project is working on development of a small green space adjacent to the Fred Meyer store (Lake City Way and NE 130th St).
It is currently seeking someone to help co-lead efforts of the group with Chris Leverson of Lake City Future First – to help with volunteer coordination, site logistics and help with propelling the project forward.
Qualified individuals would have some experience with similar landscape projects, small grant writing and volunteer coordination. Experience with outreach to traditionally under-represented populations would also be helpful.
Time Frame: Early November 2015 to mid-January of 2016.
Budget: $1000.00
Products: general support for project/outreach/volunteer coordination/site logistics/help with grant writing.
