Wonder what’s going to happen to the site of the closed Setsuna Restaurant at 112th & Roosevelt, next to QFC? Construction this fall is planned on a 20-unit housing project. It’s slated to be finished in winter 2017, according to a press release.
The complex will be constructed to Built Green 4-star standards.
The 3-bedroom units will be for sale. Seven will be live/work with 1,950 to 2,050 square feet, including 430 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Thirteen will be townhouses with 1,425 to 1,650 square feet. Prices won’t be set until the project gets closer to breaking ground.
Private rooftop terraces and a landscaped interior courtyard with seating are planned.
NK said the 18 parking stalls will be inside an enclosed podium, with four townhouses on top. The podium will eliminate the need for costly excavation to create parking.
This development sounds very classy to me. I’m delighted to welcome it to the neighborhood.
Sounds like it will increase parking and traffic on that corner which is already much worse since putting in the bike lanes. 18 spaces for 20 units plus commercial spaces…
