Parents’ Night Out
Enjoy some adult time knowing your little on is in good hands with our professional child care staff. We will be serving cheese pizza and fruit.

Seattle Parks Department Superintendent Tim Gallagher to meet with neighbors
Seattle Parks and Recreation invites the community to spend the evening of Monday, November 16 with Superintendent Tim Gallagher at the Meadowbrook Community Center, 10517 35th Ave. NE.

The purpose of the meeting, scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., is to give the community an opportunity to talk with Gallagher and other Parks staff about how the agency is meeting the needs of the community.

Neighbors will have the opportunity to meet the staff who serve the community; have personal conversations with staff about what is working and what can be improved; and to talk with the Superintendent about ideas for building community relationships and Parks programs and services that respond best to the needs of Meadowbrook area residents.

Drop n Shop with Santa’s Helpers
Get a chance to do some holiday shopping without your little ones. Children will be making a holiday gift for a special family member or friend. Cheese pizza and fruit will be served.

  • Meadowbrook Community Center will be the site for the Youth Arts Program grant from the City of Seattle Dept of Arts & Cultural Affairs, Feb 10-March 5, Thurs. 3-5pm. Flamenco: Dance of Diversity is a free program to middle-high school students who can commit to the full 12 week comphrhensive cultural emmersion, flamenco dance workshop series. Classes are taught by master teacher and flamenco dance professional, Maestra Maria Gitana. Meadowbrook also offers flamenco dance classes for 6-10 year olds. Registration is limited so please enroll early by calling (206) 684-7522.

  • Meadowbrook will host Flamenco: Dance of Diversity, Feb. 10-May 5, 3-5pm. This is a free cultural emersion, flamenco dance class series for middle-high school students who can commit to the full 12 weeks. The workshop is taught by master teacher & flamenco dance professional, Maestra Maria Gitana who also offers classes for 6-10 yr. olds. The program is offered by a grant from Seattle Dept. of Arts & Cultural Affairs. Registration is limted. Register early at 206 684-7522.
