Northgate Hockey Rink Update

The hockey facility at Northgate Mall is well along in construction. One hundred thirty-five workers a day are working on it. It will include three world-class hockey rinks, a new park, a restaurant, a bar, a new clinic space, a weight room, a gift shop, and office spaces. The builders and representatives from the NHL make it clear that this facility is for the community.

The first rink will open in July, and the whole facility will open by September 2021. Analysts project that 2,000 average visitors will travel to the facility each day and 800,000 in total visitors each year.
