Our recent Pinehurst poll shows that the top priority for the neighborhood is crime prevention.
Pinehurst can have a community representative on the Seattle Police Department North Precinct Advisory Council. This is a great opportunity to understand what is happening and to help advocate for Pinehurst. Time commitment would be about 4 hours per month and would mainly involve attending the North Precinct Advisory Council meetings which are the first Wednesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 pm.
In light of recent neighborhood events and an increased interest in crime prevention, it would be valuable for all of us as a community to have a volunteer step up to take on this leadership role. Please let me know if you are interested in this.
