Tonight I met with my neighborhood garden group from the Northwest Perennial Alliance http://www.northwestperennialalliance.org/ The members of our “clump” live in Maple Leaf, Wedgewood, Ballard and Pinehurst, we meet once a month and share garden ideas, information and just hang out.
Two new members, Cheryl and Mark joined us tonight. First I found out that they are close neighbors, living on the street behind ours. Then I discovered that their property adjoins my next door neighbors, Norah and David on the back of their property line — You may recall that David and Norah are the owners of the chinchilla and Juno, the dog that likes to sleep on my bed, as well as a number of other Pets of Pinehurst.
Apparently Cheryl and Mark have met my cat Jasper. I know that he visits all the people on our street, so I should not be surprised to hear that he jumps fences and sleeps on their lawn furniture from time to time! Still, it is funny, and I’d LOVE a photo!
Hi, there:
I’m a Master Gardener involved in community projects, and I’d love to join your NPA gardening group.
I’d love to learn more about perennials and connect with dirt-loving neighbors.
May I join you, and if so, how?
Thanks much.
Cindy
