Not only does this include the design work on the station, track, and landscaping, but they’ve also announced two local NE Seattle artists (Mary Ann Peters and Cris Bruch) who will be working with the design team on art for the station and plaza. I won’t be able to make this one (I’ll be at North District Council) but if anybody attends and wants to send an update we can share that here on the blog.

Sound Transit will host a public open house next month to unveil 60 percent design work for the Northgate Station and elevated track, including landscaping and progress for public art.
Northgate neighbors, commuters and anyone interested in final design are invited to offer their thoughts and input. Current planning for bicycle facilities, pedestrian, transit connections, park-and-ride facilities and future transit-oriented development (TOD) plans will also be discussed.
