Saturday, February 14 is not only Valentines Day, it is also Neighbor Appreciation Day in Seattle. It’s a day to plan an event with your neighbors such as a block party, send them a card of appreciation, share a dessert, organize a street rummage sale, or anything else you can think of.
There are some community center and city events, too, such as a mystery book exchange at Phinney Neighborhood Center, and many fire stations are having open houses.
