Pinehurst Pets – Basil

Victoria-BasilBasil is my next door neighbor. He’s the ‘brother’ of my cat’s boyfriend, Jasper. You always feel loved around Basil because he  wags his tail like mad when he sees you. Sometimes he comes around to run in my fenced back yard. It’s hilarious when he tears around in big circles biting at grass without breaking stride, and making little breathing noises in time to his footbeats.

Sometimes Jasper visits at the same time. Then I’m sometimes treated to seeing the two of them play together. Here’s a photo I took last week. They had been tussling, mostly with the cat on his back and Basil biting at Jasper’s back legs. Jasper had tired of that and was warding Basil off.

Please use RSS to read this blog!

Hello Pinehurst Seattle readers,

Frequently we receive complaints from people who read the weekly summary emails and see posts for events which have already occurred. The primary reason for this is that we are volunteers and we can’t dedicate ourselves to making sure that email is sent before the posted events occur. To respect your inboxes, we only send email once a week, which means that sometimes the email has already been sent before we post an event on the blog.

If you are not already using RSS to read this blog and others, I highly recommend it. Try Google Reader; enter www.pinehurstseattle.org in the add subscription box.

Also, we’re going to add forums soon, so that you’ll be able to post discussion topics directly.

Pinehurst Bumper Stickers
